A Girl’s Guide to Spying at Forbury Fiesta

Saturday 9th May, 3.20pm at the bandstand in Forbury Park. No booking necessary. Suitable for children from seven up, but please note that this is a murder mystery book!

Come and find out about A Girl’s Guide to Spying, and the real Guides who worked at MI5 during World War I. This is a spy novel and a murder mystery rolled into one! The book is packed with secret codes and ciphers – make your own Caesar cipher wheel so you can send secret messages to friends. There will be a bookshop at the event and I’m happy to sign your books!

I’m doing two creative writing events at Woolston Library in Southampton on Thursday 9th April – a Museum Kittens event for younger children, and an event for nine-plus readers on my new book A Girl’s Guide to Spying.
