The Story of Greenriver paperback

The paperback edition of The Story of Greenriver comes out on Thursday 13th April! I’m so excited to share Sedge and Silken’s story. (And it’s not that long till the sequel – The Swan’s Warning is out in September!)

Thatcham Festival

So looking forward to being at the Thatcham Festival in a few weeks’ time – this is a lovely festival local to me, with lots of exciting events on. I’m going to be introducing readers to my brand new book, The Story of Greenriver – an adventure packed with otters, beavers, and a mysterious water spirit. Booking for this event is here and I’m so pleased that the proceeds from the event are going to the International Otter Survival Fund

It’s publication day!

My watery, otter-filled, riverside adventure The Story of Greenriver is published today! I’m so excited – I feel like I’ve been working up to this book for a very long time. It’s inspired by so many of my favourite childhood reads, like Redwall (an amazing animal fantasy!), The Animals of Farthing Wood (such beautiful writing about the drama and danger of wild animal lives) and the gorgeous Brambly Hedge books (just look them up – you’ll be so glad you did!).

I can’t wait to share it with readers! If you’d like to read an extract from The Story of Greenriver, you can click the book panel on the homepage. The book is gorgeously illustrated by the wonderful Zanna Goldhawk. Just look at these endpapers!

Happy reading, and do let me know what you think – you can email me here at the website. There’s also a chance to win a copy of the book and a special otter keyring over on Twitter until 4th September 2022 (UK only though, sorry!)
