Twenty years!
I’ve just worked out that as this is 2023, I have been writing for twenty years! You can see twenty years of messy shelves here – books and bits and gorgeous drawings from readers – and there’s another even messier set of shelves opposite! My first book, Becky’s Terrible Term, part of the Triplets series, was written during 2003 (the same year my daughter Ash was born!) and published in January 2004. And my 157th book, The Borrowed Puppy, is published today by Little Tiger Press! The Borrowed Puppy is book 54 of the Animal Stories series – the series that was never meant to be a series…
I feel incredibly lucky to have spent twenty years doing something I really, really love. Huge thanks to all my readers!
