Readathon in Birmingham
I had another fab visit to the James Brindley School at Birmingham Children’s Hospital on Friday – I’m working with the amazing charity Readathon, who arrange storytelling, author visits and books for children in hospital. I loved meeting so many children, and talking about books. This is Charlotte, who had a brilliant list of questions to ask me!
And this is a photo from one of the wards – the teaching staff at James Brindley do an amazing job fitting teaching around children’s treatments. I’m more and more impressed each time I visit!
