I was lucky enough to spend four days in Malta earlier on this month – it’s such a beautiful place! Even though apparently it’s winter there at the moment…
It really didn’t feel like it!
This is a fishing village called Marsaxlokk – look at those gorgeous palm trees.
I visited 12 schools in 4 days, so there was a lot of rushing around, but everyone was so friendly and enthusiastic about books that it really didn’t matter. I was given so many beautiful drawings and books, and flowers too!
This is Zebbug Primary School – thank you for the gorgeous flowers!
Beautiful pictures that I was given…
I love the last one – especially that it comes with a poem too!
Huge thanks to Amanda from Merlin Library (who has even more cats than I do!) for organising my brilliant trip. Amanda and Tiziana look after authors very well…
I definitely want to go back to Malta – after all, who wouldn’t want to visit somewhere that takes chocolate this seriously?!
